Privacy notice

Your data and the Data Privacy Act

Effective October 31, 2026

This notice explains how we handle personal data under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the circulars of the National Privacy Commission.

Who is responsible

The personal information controller is ROCKSTAR OPC (ROCKSTAR Advisory & Solutions).

What we collect

  • Name, email and mobile number.
  • Company and role (optional).
  • Your answers in application forms.
  • Your Starter Kit answers: which best describes you and, if you choose to answer, your industry, revenue band, team size, main problem, AI use and planning timeline.
  • Your Live Webinar prep answers, if you give them: your main problem, the task that takes most of your week, your AI tool, how you will join, and the optional answers you choose to add.
  • Payment status and payment reference. Card and e-wallet details are handled by PayMongo, not stored by us.
  • Event attendance and booking times.
  • Messages you send us.
  • UTM tags and site analytics.
  • Ad measurement trackers: the Meta Pixel (browser) and Meta Conversions API (our server). They record page views, Starter Kit sign-ups, checkout steps and purchases, with Meta's _fbp/_fbc cookies, the Facebook click ID, your IP address and browser type. If you ticked the consent box on the Starter Kit or checkout form, we also send your email, mobile and first/last name to Meta in hashed (SHA-256) form so Meta can match the event to an ad. They are not loaded for visitors in the EU/EEA, UK or Switzerland, or when we cannot tell your location.

Why we use it

  • To deliver what you bought or registered for.
  • To send emails you opted into.
  • To run events and bookings.
  • To issue credits and receipts.
  • To answer your enquiries.
  • To tailor content to you and decide how we follow up, using your Starter Kit answers.
  • To prepare the live session and decide follow-up, using your seminar prep answers. We use your problem as a live example only if you say yes, and never with your name.
  • To improve our programs.

Lawful basis (RA 10173, Section 12)

  • Consent: opt-in forms and marketing email.
  • Contract: purchases and seats.
  • Legal obligation: tax and receipt records.
  • Legitimate interests: security and fraud prevention.

Who we share it with

  • PayMongo, for payments.
  • Our email provider, for email delivery.
  • Google, for Calendar and Meet.
  • Meta, if you message our Facebook Page, and for ad measurement through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API (see above). To stop it, block third-party cookies or email privacy@rockstar.one to withdraw consent to hashed matching.
  • Our hosting and database providers.

We do not sell your data.

Transfers outside the Philippines

Some of these providers store or process data outside the Philippines. When that happens, we use providers bound by contract to protect your data at a level comparable to the Data Privacy Act, and we share only what each service needs.

How long we keep it

5 years from your last interaction or transaction, then we securely delete or anonymise it. Tax records are kept as long as the law requires.

How we protect it

Encryption in transit, role-based access for our team, and an audit log of changes.

Your rights (RA 10173, Sections 16–18)

You have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to erasure or blocking, to rectification, to data portability, to damages, and to file a complaint. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Complaints

Please contact our Data Protection Officer first. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
